Morning Haze

Dawn pours down a quiet avenue in washes of apricot and gold, the rising sun flaring low between the towers and silhouetting a traffic signal overhead. Autumn foliage catches fire in warm ochres to either side of the street while the buildings fall into cool grey shadow, and a lone vehicle drifts up the empty road.

The handling is loose and luminous, with charcoal lines anchoring the architecture beneath translucent colour and crisp pockets of light — a city caught in the hush before it's fully awake.
