Description

New York Groove is a large original cityscape by Paul Kenton, painted in mixed media and metallics on boxed canvas. The view looks straight down a Manhattan avenue from high above, brick buildings receding on either side toward a hazy, silver-blue skyline in the distance.

Below, the wet street is streaked with the reflected amber and red lights of taxis, their trails pulling the eye down through the composition toward the viewer. The elevated vantage point and cool, atmospheric palette give the painting a sense of scale and quiet drama, capturing the city from above rather than at street level.

At 247 x 125 cm, this vertical canvas is a striking large-format piece for a statement wall.
