Sidewalk Shadows settles into the hush of an emptying side street, tall facades framing a lone parked car at the kerb while a few figures linger in the middle distance. Above the rooftops, the sky glows pale and warm — the only real brightness in an otherwise dusky, tonal scene.

Kenton handles the ink with restraint here, letting deep tonal blocks and crisp linear accents describe stillness rather than movement, the pavement catching that last warm light in long, soft streaks.

Worked entirely in ink on Indian paper, part of the Artisan Paper Collection and the Street Scene series, this original is float mounted in a black frame.
