Description

"South Bank Stroll" is an original mixed media and metallics painting on aluminium by Paul Kenton, from his London collection. As the city lights begin to flicker and the sky shifts through violet and rose, a lone figure walks the tree-lined South Bank path, St Paul's dome glowing softly on the far bank of the Thames.

An ornate lamppost anchors the composition, its globe picked out in bright impasto white, while metallic glints animate the wet pavement and the water beyond. The overall effect is quiet and dreamlike — London at its most tranquil, caught between day and night.

Painted on aluminium at 122 x 61cm, the metallic ground lends real shimmer to the lamplight and river reflections.
