Description

Westminster Radiance captures the last of the day's light settling over the Thames as Parliament glows with warmth and colour. The remnants of daylight blend from warm pink into twilight blue, metallic highlights flickering amongst the architecture of the capital.

Painted in mixed media and metallics on aluminium, exposed passages of polished metal catch real light as you move in front of the piece, echoing the glimmer of the Thames itself. A blur of red crosses Westminster Bridge — a passing double-decker bus rendered in bold, gestural texture — adding motion and energy to the composition.
