Description

Into the Night reflects the atmosphere of an evening walk through Chicago as the city begins to glow under streetlight. Warm amber light spreads across the bridge deck while two figures move quietly through the scene, heading further into the dusk. A dark lion sculpture and ornate lamp post anchor the foreground, with the towers beyond dissolved into loose ink lines and soft violet washes.

Painted en plein air in watercolour and ink, the piece carries a sense of immediacy — the movement of the city balanced against the calm glow of evening light.

Part of the International Cityscape collection, this original comes framed in a black ornate frame and is ready to hang.
