International Cityscapes
The cities beyond London and New York — Venice, Chicago, Amsterdam, Paris — each painted for the thing that makes it itself.
A canal that behaves like a mirror, an elevated railway overhead, a café terrace after rain, a hushed corner at first light. Paul travelled to these places to absorb the atmosphere before painting them, and it shows: streets and waterways at the hour the light turns, in everything from ink on Indian paper to mixed media and metallics on boxed canvas.
