Description

Panoramic Glow takes in a sweeping, widescreen view of London at sunset, the Thames drawing the eye from Tower Bridge in the distance across to City Hall and the rising form of The Shard. Soft orange and pink light spreads across the sky and settles on the water in long, calm reflections.

Painted in mixed media on aluminium, the work lets raw metal show through in key architectural passages, so highlights on the glass towers and river genuinely catch and respond to ambient light rather than being painted flat. It gives the piece a shimmer that shifts as you move past it, echoing the way the city itself glows as day fades.

At 244 x 101.5cm, Panoramic Glow is an expansive original from Paul's London Collection.
